There is change at all levels of Aston Martin Le Mans cars for 24 hours endurance race 2016: new car, new manufacturing, new crews, new colors – reflected the famous British Racing Green team at the time of the DBR9. The four Aston Martin Vantage GTE use a tires Dunlop, who makes his return to GTE and relights manufacturers duel with Michelin. Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE
Two of the four racing GT cars aligned with the British Aston Martin Racing team evolve into categories LM GTE Pro class. Two other AMR cars performed in LM GTE Am class at 24H Le Mans race.
First Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE car #95 assigned to the hands of Nicki Thiim, Marco Sørensen and Darren Turner.
Second Aston Martin Vantage GTE #97 performed under the control of Richie Stanaway, Jonny Adam and Fernando Rees.
The third V8 Vantage GTE 2015 #98 is engaged in GTE Am class and again piloted by the crew of Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda.

Aston Martin Racing has again faced a difficult issue in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Vantage V8 below the competition.
All four Aston Martin racing cars did not show good the results during the qualifying rounds because of forced replacement of engines.
Of the four Aston Martin Le Mans cars entered in GTE Pro and GTE Am, three of them were at the finish line with a fifth and sixth place for the # 95 and # 97 Pro and eighth for the Aston Martin 99 from Beachdeen Motorsport AMR in category Am.
